ABOUT ME
Thank you for visiting Preceptor Services! I'm Brooke Kelly, founder and owner, dedicated to supporting students through personalized academic tutoring, mentoring, and college advising - all designed to help them succeed both in school and in life.

With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Social Work from Sacred Heart University, I bring a strong foundation in both educational theory and mental health. Throughout my academic career, I have earned distinctions such as The National Society of Leadership and Success Award, Dean's List Honors, and All-American Scholar recognition, underscoring my commitment to excellence and lifelong learning. Professionally, I have extensive hands-on experience working with students of diverse needs.

As a Certified Honors & AP Course Tutor within Wilton Public Schools, I've provided tailored instruction, executive functioning coaching, and academic support across subjects, helping students improve grades and build confidence.
​
My background as a Special Education Assistant Teacher further strengthened my skills in personalized learning and classroom management for students with emotional and cognitive challenges. In addition to academic support, I am deeply invested in student mental health and well-being.
My role as a Psychology and Social Work Intern at Wilton High School involved developing the Hope Squad Suicide Prevention Program, facilitating peer support, and leading mental health initiatives, all of which enhance my ability to create a safe, encouraging space for students to grow emotionally and academically.

I am also a certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Practitioner, equipping me with advanced skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance to support students' mental wellness.

My experience extends into College Admissions and Advising through my role as Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment at Sacred Heart University, where I partnered with academic program directors and senior leadership to increase student enrollment. I guided prospective students through the application process, provided personalized advising, and developed strategic relationships to ensure students found programs aligned with their academic and career goals. This experience enriches the college advising I offer at Preceptor Services, helping students build strong applications and navigate their future paths with confidence.

At Preceptor Services, I combine my passion for education, mental health, and college advising to mentor students individually, guide them through the college application process with personalized advising, and provide academic tutoring tailored to their unique goals. I am committed to empowering every student to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
